Fundraising Spectacular
Congratulations to the Swish basketball teams for their successful fundraisers on 6/26 and 6/27. The Swish threw a little party on the 26th, inviting a few of their friends down to the Phat Azz Bike Club, and raised a little ... money. A very successful evening. Thanks to the parents for your help chaperoning and to members of the club for your opening your doors for us.
After a short night, the Swish were at it again, raising money by having a car wash. The team withstood 100+ degree temperatures and washed a few cars and collected a lot of donation money. Congratulations team.
The money raised over the weekend will help fund transportation to the Mr. Basketball tournament in Kearney, NE over the 4th of July weekend, and also pay tournament fees for their remaining tournament schedule. Watch out Nebraska, here we come!

The Nothin' but Net image has seemingly beome a motto for the players, as the Swish have quickly become one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the region.
The '06-'07 Winter squad with their 3rd place medals after the Winter Wichita I Tournament. All things are looking up after this tournament finish.
The '06-'07 Winter squad after a hard fought second place finish in the Winter Wichita II tournament held at Circle High in Towanda. The Swish beat the tournament champs in pool play, but couldn't quite handle the size inside in the championship game.
The Swish show off their championship trophy and medals, their second tournament championship in a row to finish the '06-'07 Winter regular season. This was the first tournament with some of the Swish regulars returning from their school teams.
Where it all began. This picture shows the Swish, before they were the Swish. This is the first team coached by Coach Garrison. This team finished a satisfying 10-2 in the YMCA Spirit League as 7th graders. Although the team has changed a lot the last couple of years, the goal remains the same. A special thanks to Dorian, A.J., and Shaq, as they continue their careers with the Swish.
The Swish show off their trophies after they coast to a first place finish in the 2007 Maize tournament. The Swish simply dominated the competition on their way to the championship. The Swish won 2 of 3 tournaments in July as they finish the month with a 16-1 record, on their way to Nationals.

The Swish finish up the month of July with their second straight tournament championship. Plenty of momentum for the Swish as they head to Nationals with a 16-1 mark for the month of July.

Mission Statement
The Wichita Swish basketball organization provides the youth of Wichita the opportunity to learn and compete in the game of basketball in a secure environment. The coaches provide strong moral leadership while teaching the game of basketball, and also supplying the discipline necessary in every youth's life. The Wichita Swish contunually strive to improve, becoming better players, coaches, and citizens for everyday life.
